This role is for someone who wants to collaborate with refugees, to enable refugees to lead the development of social activities, creating opportunities for friendships to develop and encourage participation.
You will facilitate refugee leadership, build connections with different communities and external partners to create a welcome space for clients to have a voice, cultural pride and exchange of ideas.

Core Functions:
· Support refugees to organise and lead social activities
· Increasing access to activities from other providers
· Developing refugee leaders
· Increasing client voice in the design and delivery of the project
· Supporting project volunteers in collaboration with the volunteer co-ordinator

Timeline for recruitment:
Job advertised: Tuesday 5th November 2024
Application support session: 18th November 4-5pm This will go through how to complete an application form and specifically how to understand how the UK application scoring system works so you can represent yourself well in the supporting statement. It is aimed at levelling the application process for refugees.
